Tipsy Tuesday: Dallas Booze News & Events

After the past couple weeks of events, it’s probably time to mellow out with a beer on the couch and give yourself some rest. But then again, the Cowboys just destroyed the Saints on Sunday and there’s a couple of birthdays to celebrate this weekend, so that’s just not going to happen. Did I mention, John Tesar of Knife and the current king of juicy meat between two buns is hosting Burgers & Burgundy on Friday? Feel free to read on and get your liver excited for the days to come.

Hurry, Tickets are Still Available for TEXSOM’s Grand Tasting and Awards Reception

It’s hard to believe this year’s TEXSOM conference will be the 10th gathering of international sommeliers. Founded in 2005, TEXSOM was started by Master Sommeliers James Tidwell and Drew Hendricks to help promote professional wine service standards, outline paths for further wine education, and certification, and raise public awareness about the professional standards and certifications for sommeliers.
