FYI, none of those posts appeared last week. On my computer at least.

Its says there are two comments, but there were none that showed up!

Shrimp Cobb Tower and Halibut Spinach Salad with a side of fried tomato caprese. And how can I not mention Champagne Wednesday! The food is beautiful both to the eyes and palate. Go try Cucina Neighborhood Italian at Preston/NW Hwy.

My post. Looks like it disappeared, but I enjoyed the mole enchiladas and enmoladas at Mesa (I think I prefer the enchiladas as a vehicle for eating the mole sauce in an entree compared to the chicken leg with mole). Also enjoyed the phat ke mao at CrushCraft that week as well as pretty much all of the tapas and large plates at Sera. Hope the folks at Sera start to get more attention, as they deserve it and the food and experience of eating there is phenomenal. Wish they were open for lunch. Had masala dosa and chole batura at Taj Chaat House, which always hits the spot and makes me literally sweat.

This week, only ate at Mi Dia from Scratch in Grapevine. I think I’ve now tried half the menu and haven’t found a loser yet. The Christmas burrito is another winner – I am really enjoying the Santa Fe section of their menu, as it is unlike anything else I’ve found here. Also service here is outstanding from all involved – their staff is awesome!

Also tried out the new Pho District in Fort Worth’s West 7th District. Free valet parking is a plus, as parking is at a premium – great location in the park, and a win on the interior design and setup. Wish there were a few more veg items on the menu, and it’s not “street food” in the same vein as Monkey King, CrushCraft or Taj Chaat House (the price point is higher and it’s definitely a restaurant you’d want to sit around in and hang out), but other than wishing the menu was a bit deeper, everything they’re serving up is great. Highly recommend the vermicelli and rice dishes; the beef skewers were melt-in-your-mouth delicious and flavorful.

I meant that the “missing post” from last week was my post…

I am in that neighborhood multiple times per week, I will have to check it out. Always looking for new Italian…

My favorite is the Chilled Gazpacho with spicy tomato, zucchini and carrot. And I vote the calamari best in Big D!

    A real trifecta this week.

The FT33 5 course menu was superb (must be for whole table and call ahead). I love sitting by the kitchen and watching a great team do what they do best. It is the best show in town.

Mr. Wok was also very good. Very fresh, light, flavorful, and great service. BYOB is always a plus. It is very small, so get there early or you can also reserve a table or six or more, which is what most people seemed to be doing.

CBD Provisions for Sunday Bruch. Wow what a great Bloody Mary! Everything was on point. Just a great space to hang in, too.
