Yolk to Open in One Arts Plaza in Dallas

yolklOne Arts Plaza has just announced the Chicago-based restaurant, Yolk, will open by the end of the year. Perhaps this idea will stick. It’s a breakfast and lunch concept that has “won numerous accolades” and “best breakfast” awards. The press release says: “Yolk pushes the envelope with creative breakfasts, specialty juices and their private label premium coffee.”

Yolk will be open from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday and 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. “Menu items will include specialty dishes such as pot roast Benedict and eggs Florentine to a variety of crepes, French toast, waffles and more. Breakfast will be served throughout the day but for those wanting a lunch fare they will also serve incredible sandwiches, wraps and burgers.

  1. Obviously we hope Dallas gets the Yolk.

When Puns are outlawed, only outlaws will have puns.

  2. I was very excited until I saw the menu. Looks like every other breakfast diner in town. What we really need is something like Egg Slut (www.eggslut.com) in downtown LA.

  3. Yolk is my favorite place in Chicago for bfast. There is nothing like it in the DFW area. Healthy and unhealthy choices to meet everyone’s tastes. Truly decadent; the red velvet French toast! I will travel across the metroplex for bfast at Yolk!

  4. The only restaurant the kids & I ate at twice on our recent Chicago trip! Glad they followed us back!
