Chef Eddy Thretipthuangisin recently left PakPao for BITE, an upscale American restaurant, in Fort Worth. The restaurant is slated to open March 20, and it will begin taking reservations on Monday, March 10.

Take a look at the menu. And this huge hunk of meat.

  1. Carol, any thoughts just looking at the menu? I only noticed there was no kra prow with holy basil and then my brain turned off in mourning. It’s gonna be competitive with Lanny’s, Cafe Modern, Clay Pigeon and AF+B all within a two mile radius serving seemingly very similar styles of food (maybe less so Lanny’s, since he veers more towards Latin American and Mediterranean).

  2. The menu didn’t ignite the same feelings I had when I first saw PakPao’s but I’m a fan of Eddy’s. Let’s see what he can do with burgers and Caesar salads.
