Food Feedback Friday

FoodFeedback Happy Friday. Tell us where you ate this week. Better yet, tell us where you tend to dine this weekend. Last week, you ate like good little piggies and reported on AF+B in Fort Worth, Tei Tei, Nobu, CBD Provisions, Casa Rubia,  Justin Box’s pop-up dinner at Wineposte, and True Foods Kitchen.

  1. AF+B (again!) – Had to go back for the coffee toffee apple pudding, it’s earned a place instantly on my top 5 desserts in the metrop!

Fireside Pies – Had the lardo pie and the burrata mozzarella; it’s been a while (too many choices for good pizza these days), but still a classic.

La Me – These egg rolls have ruined me for all other egg rolls, and the banh mi filled me up. I kept eating until I was past full, then got angry I didn’t have more stomachs to give…

Mughlai – Ordered the lamb Indian hot, even my parents thought it was right on the verge of being too spicy. But on the verge – it was amazing. Best Tandoor in the city, and gotta love the multitude of goat dishes.

Little Lilly Sushi – Happy they got some well-deserved attention from TxMo, but not looking forward to the place getting overrun in the next few weeks/months.

This weekend: Heading to Pecan Lodge, Fearing’s, Enchiladas Olé and Chino Chinatown… at least that’s the theoretical plan.

  2. CrushCraft Thai. Superb. Fresh, bold and flavorful dishes Casual atmosphere. Fantastic space with cool little outside niches. It’s great to finally have the real thing here.

Web page issue: If you go to the main side/dish page this For Feedback section does not appear. You have to do the little redirect you have suggested before. Would it be possible to post a link to this format on the main page? The answer to that, of course is “yes.” I guess the better question would be–will your web page peeps do it?
