Kona Grill opens its first location in Fort Worth. For all you people who care about their extended happy hour deals (bad sushi and body-squashing crowds during weekends are not for me), then this your place. The new Kona opens on January 31 inside the Cultural District. It’ll be right across from the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth.

Potager Cafe is hosting a 5-year anniversary this Saturday, January 18, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. It’ll be an all-request menu that day at the Arlington restaurant, so pick your favorite dish and go. Pretty awesome.

Poor, poor California bartenders. According to the LA Times, there’s a new food safety law that requires them to not use their hands while making drinks. They can’t touch anything that goes directly into the glass. Good thing we live in Texas, right?
