Executive Chef Eddy Thretipthuangsin and Pakpao End Relationship

Best_new_Restaurants_PakPao_1After a whirlwind six-month relationship, Pakpao and executive chef, Eddy Thretipthuangsin, have broken up. A brief statement from Apheleia Restaurant Group, simply says:

Richard and Tiffanee Ellman, have ended their relationship with Pakpao Executive Chef, Eddy Thretipthuangsin. The strategic ending of the relationship is a long term growth discussion that was best for the restaurant and the brand. The group hopes to expand the brand in 2014 as a national authentic Thai destination.

Something tells me Thretipthuangsin will have a job in a nanosecond.

  • Hmmm…

That’s a nice PR spin to the talk he was over the owners and walked out. Meaning he ended the relationship, not the owners. I like Pakpao but have a feeling it is a fast sinking ship considering what’s gone on behind the scenes lately.

Maybe he will end up somewhere local soon. As far as I’m concerned, the more good Thai food in this town, the better.
