Blue Bell Debuts Chocolate Peanut Butter Ice Cream

Chocolate Peanut Butter-150Coming in September from the creamery established in 1907 in Brenham, Texas: chocolate ice cream laced with a creamy peanut butter swirl. Just in time for the end of bikini season.

Blue Bell is no longer the Texas icon of great taste and great value. A few weeks ago I noticed a significant decline in quality (Rocky Mountain Road with no nuts, among other problems) and price increases despite the lower quality. My letter to Blue Bell was never answered. So very disappointed. How un-Texan of Blue Bell!

Blue Bell has made this flavor for years, but only sold it to ice cream shops and the like. This is the first time it’s available to consumers for purchase at the grocery store. Pokey O’s has it by the scoop, but I don’t think it’s a regular item there.
