Look, I don’t have much time so this will have to be quick. Let’s just say I muttered the wrong version of a spell I learned from a half-rhinoceros demon that lives in a painting under the bridge, and now I only have 3 hours to reverse it or the city will be demolished. I’m sure it will be fine. So two nights ago, I attended a media preview of food and drinks at the newly remodeled Boxwood Tap & Grill. The space was long overdue for a facelift, and the owners hit the proverbial nail on the motherjamming head. Seriously, the exposed brick, open seating, and rustic pub cleanliness is thoughtful and warming to the netherbits. The chef’s passion is intoxicating, the food is fresh and inspired, and the remodel has quenched a thirst that lived on desperately in the old space. The owners have a business sense that will ensure a successful delivery of food and service. You should go. And you’re going to like it or you’re going to suffer the wrath of my highly trained techno bots and their malware swords of destiny. On a serious note, please send complaints to Carol.
