Making Dallas Even Better

  • Greg Brown

Went back to FT33 this week. It is our fourth time and it never fails to disappoint. They are just flat out innovative–but not to the detriment of flavor or execution. Service is also top notch. The servers know their food and review each course with you again upon service. This is very helpul when a glass of wine has clouded your memory a bit. Matt knows is food and Jeffery knows his wine. He brought us some interesting and off-the-beaten-path vintages that were perfect with our courses.

    Amy,

We’ve heard the same thing you have, that you have to get there early and to expect a wait. We’ve driven by a few times but never stopped. Did you end up eating there?

amazing meal at Yao Fuzi. Again. head and shoulders the best “white table cloth” chinese in dallas, and i say that as a loyal fan of royal china.

We love The Boiling Crab. Some suggestions for anyone who doesn’t want to wait -just call in your order. We’ve had no problem calling at 5:30 and getting it in 30 min. For those that have never been – get the dungeness with “The whole sha-bang!” seasoning (a mixture of cajun, lemonpepper, and garlic butter). We’re pretty sure the dungeness is fresh, not frozen.

Had a business lunch at nosh this week. Was pleasantly surprised with a new menu. I ordered the braised short ribs and they did not disappoint. The service was fantastic and apparently they just added a lot of French wines to there wine list.I will be back very soon to enjoy some more fantastic food and wine.
