It’s American Craft Beer Week! Here’s Where You Should Get Your Beer On.

It’s Monday and you’re already wishing it was the weekend. Lucky for you, these next seven days are going to feel like the weekend. American Craft Beer Week (May 13-19), put on by the Brewers Association, is a celebration of small and independent craft brewers all over the nation. Hold on tight. There are a ton of beer events to geek out over. I’ll keep updating the list as emails flood my inbox. And when I get a second or two, I promise to make this post look more visually appealing. I know, I know. It’s fugly right now.

Lakewood Brewing Co.

Lakewood Brewing Co. is having an “all cask” brewery tour on Saturday, May 18, from noon to 3 p.m. “Admission is $10. Visitors will receive four samples and be able to keep the souvenir pint glass. An informal brewery tour starts at 1:30 p.m.” There’ll be live music by Marisela the Voice (does this mean she’s headless?), and kids are welcome. You just gotta supervise them. If Saturday doesn’t work, you can catch Lakewood Brewing Co. at all these other places here:

Monday, May 13th — LBC Spotlight Night at Flying Saucer in Addison

Wednesday, May 15th — Special Cask and Tappings at Holy Grail Pub in Plano

Wednesday, May 15th — Special Beer Tasting Event at Lonestar Beverages in Carrollton

Thursday, May 16th — Tap Takeover at the Chicago House in Austin

Friday, May 17th — Lakewood Brewing Company Dinner at Whole Foods Park Lane in Dallas—Belgian-inspired, family-style menu paired with local beer. Buy tickets in advance.

Friday, May 17th — Craft Beer in the USA Blowout at Jack Mac’s Swill & Grill, featuring Fish Fry Bingo

Saturday, May 18th — Lakewood Brewing Company’s “All Cask” Brewery Tour

Sunday, May 19th Brew Riot in the Bishop Arts District, Oak Cliff
