What To Drink Now: Super Bowl Super Cocktails

As another season of football draws to a close, yet again without the Cowboy’s in the prime spot. This Super Bowl Sunday celebrate the tradition of the day along with the teams with a frosty beverages and tasty snacks that will make any party a hit.  Need a little inspiration?  Shake up one of these cocktails this weekend, it will make watching the game much more fun.

Harbaugh Bloody Sunday
4 ounces Jalapeño-Infused Camarena Silver Tequila*
3 ounces Fresh-Squeezed Blood Orange Juice
1 ounce Fresh Lime Juice
2 ounces Orange Liqueur
Directions:  In a cocktail shaker, combine jalapeño-infused Camarena Silver Tequila, blood orange juice, lime juice and Cointreau. Fill with ice, shake and strain into a rocks glass over ice. Garnish with a blood orange peel.
*Jalapeño-Infused Camarena Silver Tequila – Slice up a fresh jalapeño pepper and allow it to steep in 1 cup of Camarena Silver Tequila for 2 hours. Remove the slices by pouring the mixture through a mess strainer.

The HarBOWL
1/4 Pitcher TY KU Citrus Liqueur
1/4 Pitcher Ty Ku Soju
1/2 Pitcher Lemonade
Splash Blue Curacao
Squeeze of fresh lemon
Directions: Combine all ingredients in a large pitcher over ice and serve with lemon wedges for garnish.

The KU-Epernick
2.5 oz TY KU Coconut Sake
Splash of Rum
Splash of Citrus Soda
Fresh Mint
Directions: Muddle in fresh mint in the bottom of a tall glass.  Add ice, TY KU and rum and top with citrus soda.

Kaepernick’s Keg
1 ounce Shellback Spiced Rum
1 ounce Guava Nectar
1 ounce Ruby Red Grapefruit Juice
4 ounces Light Beer
Lime Wheel for Garnish
Salted Rim
Directions: Rim beer mug with lime. Dip rim into salt. Fill with ice. Add rum, guava nectar and grapefruit juice. Top with beer. Stir lightly. Garnish with lime wheel.

The Ultimat Superhero
1.5 oz Ultimat Vodka
2.5 oz White Grape Juice
Ginger Ale
Fresh or Frozen grapes
Directions: In tall glass with ice, add Ultimat vodka and white grape juice. Top with ginger ale. Garnish with grapes.

KAPPA Nick

1.5 oz KAPPA Pisco
1 oz Blood Orange Juice
.75 oz Agave Nectar
Directions: Shake all ingredients and pour over ice in a rocks glass. Garnish with a blood orange wheel and light dusting of cinnamon.
