Bee Enchiladas is Closed

What an awful year for Monica Greene. Recently she left her restaurant Monica’s Nueva Cocina and today she closed BEE in Oak Cliff. (H/T DS and FB) BEE’s official Facebook page:

To All Dear Friends and Patrons: Bee closed it’s doors for business today. Thank you for your support for the past two years. Love to all.

Several people have reported that Monica’s Nueva Cocina on Oak Lawn has closed as well. I’ve left messages for staff.

  1. This sucks! We love this place. If there’s any chance of reconsidering, please do. Otherwise, does anyone know any place near Oak Cliff where you can get vegan Mexican food?

  2. I’ve never been to Monica’s Oak Lawn restaurant so I can’t comment.

However, Bee deserved to close. Not only was the food horrid, but after placing your order and having a cook prepare it, you had to go back to the counter yourself to pick up your order and, they had the gall to keep a tip jar on the cashier’s counter. For what? Once was more than enough for me.

  3. Liked Bee Enchiladas and will miss the great tasting sauces and combinations of meats. Hope to know if she is able to open again, I’ll attend
