Matt’s Ranchero Martinez in Lakewood Opens Sometime Tomorrow, You Should Call Ahead

Poor Matt’s. It’s gone through a lot of drama these past few months just to open a new space in Lakewood. Now everyone is happy-go-lucky and Matt’s Rancho Martinez is opening sometime tomorrow. I think. I called the restaurant, and GM Patrick Johnson says it’s opening at 11 a.m. this Saturday, September 22. However, Nancy received an email from Director of Operations Brian Marsters around the same time I made my phone call, and he says it’s opening tomorrow afternoon. So, um, who am I supposed to believe?

Johnson says you should call 30 minutes ahead to guarantee seating, and he’s not taking reservations this weekend. He’s only taking reservations for parties of 20 or more.

Go whatever time at your own risk. But if I were you, I’d definitely dial 214-823-5517 before heading out to Lakewood.
