Sponsored by Oak Farms Dairy During KRLD Restaurant Week in 2012
KRLD Restaurant Week is a fun August tradition for many of us who enjoy dining out at a set price, discovering a variety of restaurants and cuisine, and giving back to help support the North Texas Food Bank in Dallas or Lena Pope Home in Fort Worth. The 15th annual event has traditionally only featured tasty three-course prix fixe dinners for $35 per person (tax, tip and drinks billed separately), but diners can test-drive the new Cadillac Lunch Experience sponsored by Oak Farms Dairy for the very first time in 2012. Spotlighting some of our area’s hottest lunch locales, 35 restaurants are featuring a special three-course lunch menu for only $25 a person (tax, tip and drinks billed separately) during the course of their participation in KRLD Restaurant Week. While some spots will offer smaller portions of their dinner offerings, others will showcase the attributes of their lunch menu that make them a mid-day dining stand out.
Reservation lines are currently open so make plans with the office lunch bunch, clients or friends, and act quickly to hold your spot at the table. The extensive 2012 participant list is now viewable at CBSDFW.com, and lunch spots are noted with the Cadillac emblem. Go ahead and treat yourself while helping others this August. And remember that every bite taken during KRLD Restaurant Week helps makes a difference with participating restaurants donating a portion of each meal served (i.e. $7 from each dinner and $5 from every lunch) back to one of the charity partners.
Dining gets underway August 13th and many spots will extend through August 26 or September 2. Help drive some early excitement by casting your vote for your favorite lunch hot spot in Cadillac’s “Best of the Best Ultimate Lunch Experience” going on now. One lucky winner will be rewarded with a complimentary lunch for four. Visit Metroplex Cadillac Dealers’ Facebook page for details.
