I’m celebrating my five year anniversary  later this month with my steak-loving wife.  Any suggestion on a steakhouse that also has somewhat of a romantic vibe?

He’s cold, lonely, and hungry. He wants the comfort of a plate of chicken and waffles. Hear him whine.

I miss Roscoe’s in LA. Is there any place in Dallas that serves chicken and waffles like those?

I tried to convince him to come over to my house for dinner, but he plays for the other team.

Ready for your close-up, Plano?

Yow. Zah. I checked out Avner and Celeste Samuel’s new Nosh Euro Bistro location in Plano and it’s one swanky hangout. There is a ginormous 24-seat community table, counter seating in front of the open kitchen, and a wine room for private dining. Jon Stevens will be chef de cuisine. The space is 1,000 square feet larger than the original Oak Lawn location. They will be open all day every day. Hmm. Wonder how a community table will work in Plano?

Hey Beer Lovers: Get Ready for Holy Grail Pub Dog Days of Winter Event

On Tuesday January 17th at 6:00PM, beer lovers will get a chance to taste the extremely limited release of Dogfish Head 120 Minute IPA. Get there early, the last tapping of 120 in September sold out in 14 minutes. It’s the world’s strongest India Pale Ale (18%).  Other tappings include Dogfish Head favorites such as Immort Ale and Burton Baton.  Enjoy them with the ever popular Holy Grail house-made hot dogs. Check out the hunk nice young gentleman in this video as he talks about “calibrating hoppiness.” How good is that? Who doesn’t need their hoppiness calibrated?
