Hey Dallas Restaurants, Are You Open on New Year’s Day?

Gayl C. Hobbs, the Head Concierge at the Omni Dallas Hotel, asked me for a list of restaurants that will be open on New Year’s Day. I don’t have one. But that doesn’t mean we can’t make one for her. Okay, leave it below.

UPPITY DATE: NEW YEAR’S DAY IS January 1, 2012!

  1. Mesa Veracruz Coastal Cuisine will be open on new years eve. Regular hours, and we are now taking reservations. Special menu will be available. 214 941 4246 or 214 799 2939

  2. Our Plano & Rockwall locations will be open for New Years Eve. Chef has put together an outstanding 3 course menu & we will offer wine pairings as well. Seatings at 5:30, 7:30, & 9:30. Check our website or Facebook page for menu & details. Call soon for reservations!

  3. Cane Rosso will be open New Year’s Eve…but I guess this is for New Year’s Day??
    Anyway – no tricked up expensive fancy menu…just the regular stuff. Reservations for 6 or more 214-741-1188.

  4. Horne & Dekker will be open on New Year’s Day for our Hangover Brunch (aptly named for just this type of day) from 11-3pm and Sunday Supper from 5-10pm. On New Year’s Eve we’ll be serving a 4 course menu which includes a glass of champagne with dessert for $65.

  5. The Libertine Bar will be open at 11AM for brunch, and open until midnight for food, and til 2AM for drinks!

  8. My new favorite restaurant, Del Frisco’s Grille in Uptown Dallas, will be open normal hours — brunch from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and dinner from 3 to 9 p.m. Great place to celebrate the new year!

  10. Company Cafe’s new location at 3136 Routh hosts a special New Year’s Eve prix fixe meal. For $50 per person, dinner includes choice of one appetizer, entrée, and dessert from the evening’s special menu plus a complimentary glass of champagne. Go to the Event Website for the menu and to make reservations for 6:30 or 8:30 pm.

    The Greenville Avenue location will close after lunch on New Year’s Eve. Both locations will be open regular hours on New Year’s Day and will feature football on the HDTVs.
