Young Texans Against Cancer: 2011 BubblyQ at Fearings. Dean Fearing returns as celebrity chef chair of this annual event, so show up wearing your best foodie fascinator. Guests will sample gourmet cuisine from the culinary gurus behind Eatzi’s, Charlie Palmer at The Joule, Kent Rathbun’s Concepts, Sevy’s Grill, Private Social, and more.

Friday

Swirl & Sip at Bijoux. The wine tasting class features American Rhone-style wines.

Saturday

Hot Dames and Chili Flames at the Shops at Park Lane. A two-parter. The Dallas chapter of Les Dames d’Escoffier hosts a “treaure sale” of culinary gadgets and cookbooks. The proceeds benefit local charitable organizations.

Sunday

Hot Dames and Chili Flames at the Shops at Park Lane. The Texas Chefs Association hold their Chili and Chowder Confrontation, where area chefs compete to see who can whip up the best bowl. There will be live musical entertainment, and those who eat get to vote on their favorite.
