Lovers Lane Olive Oil Opens Doors

Last weekend, Rebecca Knop opened the doors on Lovers Lane Olive Oil Company in the former Consignment Galleries space.  The store features 40 flavors of extra virgin olive oils and balsamic vinegars from Modena, Italy on tap, in flavors such as Persian lime and spicy harissa extra virgin olive oil, and dark chocolate and espresso balsamic vinegars.  Go in for a tasting and walk out with a kitchen essential. This is the second location for the Grapevine Olive Oil Company. Within the same building, Baked Spice specializes in hard to find chili peppers, sugars, salts, as well as cooking and baking accessories.

  1. I wish them well. Speaking from experience, that’s a terrible area for retail of almost any sort let alone something so specialized.

  2. Thanks Twinwillow! We hope to be there just as long as Consignment Gallery was (Over 10 years!) as well as Beading Dreams and Mountain Hideout. We hope to be an asset to the area offering Gourmet Foods as well as gifts and home accents.

  3. They’ll probably do well, but parking can be a nightmare. There should be enough walking traffic to be okay, but many times I just drive on, when I can’t get a spot quickly.

  4. Parking during lunch is usually the only time I cannot find parking; other than that, we do have designated parking for our store, 4 spots right in front! If you can’t find a spot, call the store at 214 352 5263 and we will move one of our cars for you.
