Rusty Fenton Opens Second Rusty Taco in Dallas

What is the deal here? First, Maple & Motor meanie Jack Perkins opens a taco joint in the food court at U.T. Southwestern. Now comes word, Rusty Fenton, creator of Rusty Taco, has opened a new location in the Hospital District near Parkland Hospital directly across from UTSW. Cheap real estate or special healing powers in tacos? Who knows?  Perhaps Fenton, who also founded Uncle Julio’s, says the taco spot is open all day and they have a drive-through window. Odd trend:  Tacos joints and hospitals. Like cops and donuts?

  1. Let’s not forget Urban Taco has a space in Parklands’ lobby where McDonald’s used to be. That makes three veddy upscale taco joints, no downmarket stands. I dare some pushcart guy or foodtruck to park in front of Salvation Army on Harry Hines and see how long he lasts. I figure th’ over/under at about 15 minutes before he gets towed or run off.

  2. there’s a taco place in medical city dallas, too, but it isn’t one of the trendy taco joints

  3. Definitely believe that which you stated. Your favorite reason appeared to be on the net the easiest thing to be aware of. I say to you, I definitely get irked while people consider worries that they plainly don’t know about. You managed to hit the nail upon the top as well as defined out the whole thing without having side-effects , people could take a signal. Will probably be back to get more. Thanks

  4. @taco lover. You have lost your mind. Rusty taco is a hell of alot better than any place that JP would ever open. As a matter of fact it is the best place for tacos and Rusty happens to be one of the nicest guys around.
