Voveti Prosecco Introduced In Dallas

The Ferrer family owns Segura Viudas and Freixenet,  famous for their Spanish Cava (a sparkling wine called Freixenet) is now offering an Italian sparkler. They partnered with the Collavini family, who have been making Prosecco for over a century northeastern Italy. The result is Voveti Prosecco (approx. $17 at Sigels and Mr. G.). Recently, they held a release release party at Scott and Cooner,  a showroom stuffed to the gills with Italian furniture from the Milan Furniture Fair. Jump for other cool Italian stuff.

Including kitchens that are achingly cool like this…

From one of which excellent hors d’oeuvres antipasti stuzzichino  were prepared. Outside was the new-to-the-US Fiat 500. Which is pretty cute…

But not as cute as my dog…

I will wait for the Abarth version, due next Spring. And I am more of a 458 Italia guy as it happens…
