Somebody Help This Poor Dog Lover: Mother’s Day Dining in Dallas

A colleague with a soul for saving dogs and a bod for sin wants advice on where she can take the two loves of her life—mother and dogs—to celebrate Mother’s Day. That would be May 8. Give it up dog-friendly restaurants.

  • DFWFoodie

I know Lombardi’s Taverna, Toulouse and Sangria in Knox are all dog-friendly. I take my pup to all three for brunch often! Those are the only restos I can really think of that have delicious food, an awesome atmosphere and allow dogs.

  • Rebross

Toulouse is fantastic – my dogs love going there. Bolsa in Oak Cliff, Palomino’s at Hotel Crescent Court, Olenjack’s in Arlington and Celebration Restaurant on Lover’s Lane.

  • CB

    Dream Cafe

  • Verhunny

Maybe try DISH on Oak Lawn they have Sunday brunch, a dog friendly patio, AND a pet friendly menu.

  • leo

Bread Winners Cafe, great pet friendly patio! They also have samples of their organic dog treats for your pooch.

  • SDM

not as nice as the previous ones mentioned: Three Sheets, Katy Trail Ice House, San Fran Rose, Lee Harvey’s (off leash day), Primo’s, The OT Tavern

  • Itty Bitty Mama – Cheryl

You should call and check but Si Tapas has a field out the back. It’s got great food and atmosphere and we usually let our kids out to play in the field after dinner while we enjoy our sangria. So maybe they might allow furr-kids too.

  • Amy

Garden Cafe on Junius in Lakewood. Great patio special dog treats and water bowls.

  • RZD

    Parigi’s patio is doggie friendly

  • DF

Bolsa in Oak Cliff has a pet friendly patio and does Brunch and Dinner on Sundays

  • Karen

Eden Cafe, across the street from Celebration on West Lovers Lane, allows dogs on their completely screened Patio and has a lovely Mother’s Day Buffet too.

  • Poodle

    Great suggestions!
