A colleague with a soul for saving dogs and a bod for sin wants advice on where she can take the two loves of her life—mother and dogs—to celebrate Mother’s Day. That would be May 8. Give it up dog-friendly restaurants.

I know Lombardi’s Taverna, Toulouse and Sangria in Knox are all dog-friendly. I take my pup to all three for brunch often! Those are the only restos I can really think of that have delicious food, an awesome atmosphere and allow dogs.

Toulouse is fantastic – my dogs love going there. Bolsa in Oak Cliff, Palomino’s at Hotel Crescent Court, Olenjack’s in Arlington and Celebration Restaurant on Lover’s Lane.

You should call and check but Si Tapas has a field out the back. It’s got great food and atmosphere and we usually let our kids out to play in the field after dinner while we enjoy our sangria. So maybe they might allow furr-kids too.
