The restaurant rumor mill was churning last night. Word on the street: Dean and Lynae Fearing are getting divorced. At the risk of sounding corny, when I heard the gossip a sharp pang pierced my heart.
“Yes, it’s true,” says Lynae. “It’s sad, but it’s time to move on. We are not angry and neither one of us have one minute of regret. We are going to show how to do divorce the right way.”
The Fearing’s have been married for 20 years and have two children. They are also business partners with Tracy and Kent Rathbun in the restarant Shinsei and the newly opened culinary shop Duo.
Dean just texted me a statement.
