Live Auction Dinner with Dean Fearing Sells in Less Than Three Minutes

At Bonne Santé (the fund raiser for the American Kidney Foundation held at The Westin Galleria on Thursday night) a Chef’s Table dinner for eight with a nominal value of $1,000 at Fearing’s at The Ritz-Carlton was auctioned off – in just two minutes and 55 seconds.  Watch the feeding frenzy.

  3. Why is selling an auction item quickly a good thing? I was at the event and there were other items that sold for alot more money than Dean’s dinner. Dean was the only chef that didn’t even show up in person at the event and when they tried to offer to sell dinners to both of the two top bidders, one of them backed out. Shows they didn’t want the dinner as bad as they just wanted to “win”.
