Alma in Dallas Opens Today

This just in from “Thanks” Tristan Simon:

At last, Alma is opening today for dinner @ 5 pm. It will be open for dinner only, 7 nights per week, until late spring/early summer when it will open for lunch as well.

    $6 for chips and salsa

    Woohoo, Javier’s has competition for the most ridiculous Mexican food place in town! I can hardly wait to see the valet line and the poseurs.

  4. Gotta love a Mexican food place that charges for chips and salsa. I really wanted to try this place, but the prices are so goofy that I can’t justify it… No doubt this will be a big hit with the Dallas crowd though!

  7. Went Sat night. Thought the pork shank was very good. Wife had chicken enchilidas, thought it was good but not for the $$. OVerall experience was great but the main drawback we had was to high prices.
