It feels like forever since pitmaster Tim McLaughlin has been working on the new BBQ joint, housed in the former Casa Blanca space in Oak Cliff’s Bishop Arts District. But the anticipation is finally over. Today’s the day, and Lockhart Smokehouse is open for meaty, finger lickin’ business. Our pals over at Full Custom Gospel BBQ have the first taste.

There is no mistaking that we are in the midst of Super Bowl fever, if you can thaw out from this deep freeze!
