CuriousDish: Man Needs Thanksgiving Pie in Dallas

The best part of Thanksgiving are the desserts.  And so for that, I turn to the experts, our SideDish readers.  Apple, cherry, pecan.  Everyone wants something different.  Help me dear readers, where can I find the best pie in Dallas?

PS: Don’t you wish we had a Pie Cart (PieLabPDX)?

  1. Normas in North Dallas. Off the hook! Fantastic crust for fruit ones, tall meringue for cream, lots of variety ;)

  3. It’s hard to beat the montmorency cherry pie at Central Market. It’s going to be crazy over there but they’ve got about a dozen different varieties of pie on sale over there right now.

  4. For the basic, no frills pie, try Mama’s Daughter’s Diner. And if you can find one still in business, Luby’s used to make some pretty good pies. Haven’t had one in a while so not sure if they are still good?
