Dinner and a Show Made Easy Thanks to AT&T PAC and Downtown Restaurants

Package deals of old, designed to provide an attractive yet economical middle ground, have been badly in need of a facelift for some time. Thankfully, the folks in the Arts District cottoned on to the need for change and took it upon themselves to dream up some new ways to package dinner and a show while still letting food and art lovers feel like they have some choices.

jump for the restaurants…

Through their new “Need To Eat?” program, you can pre-arrange (and pre-pay for) your dinner while you purchase tickets from the AT&T box office. And the pickins are good: 13 Downtown/Uptown restaurants have gotten on board with prix fixe, three-course menus ranging from $35-$75 (sorry, your booze is still your own problem).

Choose from restaurants in the:

Bronze level ($35): The Kitchen Table at the Sheraton, Jorge’s Tex Mex, the Pyramid at The Fairmont, State & Allen Lounge, and Tei-An; the

Silver Level ($55): Dallas Chop House, Dallas Fish Market, Dragonfly at Hotel ZaZa, Screen Door, and Y.O. Ranch Steakhouse; and the

Gold Level ($75): Capital Grille, Ocean Prime, and the Tower Club.

Pair them with performances of Anna Bolena, Don Giovanni, Trinity River Plays, TITAS: Lila Downs/Buika, Brinker International Forum: Al Pacino; JAZZ ROOTS: American Songbook; TITAS: Hubbard Street Dance Chicago; and the Nutcracker and bid adios to mediocrity!

  1. At craft | DALLAS we are offering a 2 course meal for $45. Of course you can add on dessert. Complimentary valet parking, and here’s the kicker: we will drive you to the Arts District and pick you up after the performance. Just mention the Stop, Dine & Roll when making your reservation.

  2. Do I have to pay in advance in order to get the pre-theater deal? I’d prefer to just make a reservation and mention the special, like Craft is doing.
