New Chef, Cesar Gallegos, at Bolla in Dallas

David Bull has split the scene at Bolla Restaurant in the Stoneleigh Hotel and has returned to Austin where he will open two restaurants in The Austonian. Bull is still an employee of La Cosha Hospitality, the group that manages the Stoneleigh. Anywhoo, Bull’s replacement is Cesar Gallegos, who is rejoining La Corsha—he worked at the Driskill Hotel and Barton Creek Resort in Austin—will take over the post of executive chef. Book Signing with PBS Chef Ming Tsai at Milestone Culinary Arts Center

Chef Ming Tsai — James Beard Award winner, Emmy-winning host of Simply Ming, and competitor on this season’s The Next Iron Chef — will be on hand to sign his new book, Simply Ming One-Pot Meals at Milestone Culinary Arts Center on McKinney on Nov. 10 at 6:30 pm.

The evening will run you $75/person for which you will get to:

  • watch Ming prepare Mom’s Famous Vinegared Shrimp
  • enjoy a buffet featuring dishes (and techniques) from the new book
