A Deep Ellum Pub Crawl That’s Gone to the Dogs

Just one of GALT's 70 adoptable greyhounds

For those of you who like your philanthropy with a side of potation, the Deep Ellum Pup Crawl and Poker Run (to benefit the Greyhound Adoption League of Texas) was designed with you in mind. From noon-7 p.m. on Oct. 16, booze-hounds of the two- and four-legged variety will pay $25 to spend the afternoon crawling through Deep Ellum watering holes, receiving a playing card at each stop. At the final destination, prizes will be awarded to the highest hands.
