Tim was our waiter and was excellent. Food was mostly from their regular menu & portion sizes were more than adequate. No skimping. But we like CG anyway and always feel we get good value there. Very accommodating all around. Highly recommend. Betsy We went to Go Fish on Friday night. Between the four of us, we tried the fried green tomatoes, soup and salad. The fried green tomatoes were good, as was the soup. The salad was, well, a salad. For the entrees, we tried the scallops and the snapper. The scallops certainly won that round and I would highly recommend them. Dessert was key lime pie and bread pudding. Both were good, although not necessarily worth writing home about. While the food was good and the service at the bar was wonderful, our dinner service was slow and inattentive. The restaurant was not very full, they had plenty of staff, yet our waitress went MIA for long periods of time. We looked for someone to speak to after the meal, but to no avail. We did however find our waitress who seemed to be enjoying chatting and flirting with the other servers or hostesses at the bar. Very disappointing. marisa Cadot was wonderful in every way. We go to this restaurant about once per month so we know what to expect. MaggieP Last Friday we had dinner at Pappas Bros for RW. The food and service were wonderful and everyone, from the guys tending to the valet parking, the ladies at the reception area, the busboys, our most excellent waiter, Steve Ramey and the managers all made us feel quite welcome. The food was delicious and the portions quite generous. We ordered the filet which was cooked properly to medium, garnished with a grilled shrimp and sides of mash and haricot verts. And what does one say about the lobster! It is gilding the lily to say it almost looked too good to eat. And to top it all off the desserts, especially the chocolate peanut butter cake were gorgeous. And did I mention their legendary wine list? Such fun to go through it with absolutely something for everyone. It was indeed a fine evening we had dining at Pappas Bros. We recommend them unreservedly. RLA Ate at the Capital Grille and the food and wine was amazing as usual! BEST steaks in Dallas!! What really made our night memorable was our server, Kourtney. She went above and beyond for us. We did the wine paring and she was highly knowledgeable and had perfect timing. She was a true delight and made us feel as if we were her only guests. I will recommend The Capital Grille to everyone I know, and tell them to request Kourtney – one of the best servers in all of Dallas! http://www.thebradsblog.com TheBrad I rarely participate in RW. I stumbled into doing The Mansion last week. I know it’s a “shocker,” but I enjoyed it on every level. As I do, I offer further detail in pics here: http://tinyurl.com/2ckjsu7 There’s still time to check it out… m I’m doing the Mansion tonight and cannot decide what to order. Are any of those options not to be missed? http://www.thebradsblog.com TheBrad I’m tellin’ ya – that Crawfish-Stuffed Texas Chicken was terrific.
