  1. Thanks for the update. I noticed it was closed and I was very bummed.

This was the first place I went to on a girl’s night out after leaving an abusive husband. I was pretty much clutching my pearls when I walked in, but by the end of the night I had been hit on by so many sweet, blue collar, biker gentlemen; I left that night thinking, ‘I am going to be okay in this world’. I know I know, you haters on here will think of something sarcastic to say, but that night launched my self esteem and gave me some much need ego stroking after being treated like crap for so many years. It was one of the most entertaining nights of my life.

  2. It’s funny how one night like that can put you back together and give you hope. Sometimes those guys know the right things to say.

    All the best to you!

  3. @Umami. Being a memeber of the first wives club, I say “congrats” and “everything comes full circle.”

  4. @Umami, only a cold-hearted person would be sarcastic. Finding reassurance in the least likely places is one of those amazing bits that makes life livable.

  5. I’m always amazed at the number of landlords who kick out a long-term, pay-their-rent-every-month establishment in order to risk taking a chance on getting someone else in that will pay more. Hopefully they will find a place to move to.

  6. I will miss the Blues burger–blue cheese and bacon burger and the lovely ladies cooking to order always being amused by my incredible and unabashed honkiness
