Making Dallas Even Better

Grimaldi’s Pizza: Evicted

The original joint under the Brooklyn Bridge has fallen behind on rent and city taxes.Probably will have no effect on the locations in Dallas and Allen.

On another pizza note, how long before the price of a decent pie goes sky high? Anyone paying attention to the price of wheat? IJS.

I was never a Grimaldi’s fan, I always preferred the greatness of Dom DeMarco at DiFara’s. Madonna Mia can that man make a pie.

My dad, who’s the manager at a Co-op in Oklahoma, said that once harvest finished, the farmers were advised to sell their wheat because they were told prices wouldn’t rise higher. So the farmers sold. And now wheat prices are sky high and 85 percent of the farmers sold at the lower prices. Moods are somber on Oklahoma farms.
