Carolina’s Mexican Cuisine in Plano is Closed

A loal Disher with eyes for signs and a nose for news reports Carolina’s Mexican Cuisine in Plano is closed. A call to the Rosemead location confirmed the fact.

  1. That is unfortunate, but not very surprising. It was good, but anytime I visited it was never very busy. I never really understood why they selected that location. Too much direct competition – it was 100 yards away from both an Abuelo’s and Chuy’s which are consistenly busy and you know how we Plano-ites love our chain restaurants!

  2. I’m not too surprised, since it is the second Mexican restaurant that didn’t survive in that location. It was OK food, but OK food isn’t enough to compete with all of the other restaurant choices in that strip.

  3. That is too bad. I have never been to that location but the patio at the Rosemeade location is one of my favorite spots.
