Looking for Something to do on New Year’s Eve?

I’m not much of a party girl when it comes to going out on New Year’s Eve. I prefer spontaneous drinking over premeditated over-consumption of alcohol(Warning: graphic animal behavior). The last time I had an official date lined up for NYE, I was stood up. I was a junior in high school. My heart was broken. Last year the dude who stood me up asked me to be his Facebook friend. I really showed him—hitting the IGNORE button was better than sex. But I am not a holder of grudges either.

Anywhoo, you probably love to celebrate on NYE. If you are looking for a local option, Sarah Eveans has comprised a long list of festive options. Check back often as the list is growing like kudzo. (BTW, the aforementioned dude is married. To another dude.) Moving on.

  1. NN, did the dude have frosted tips, a popped collar, brokered commercial real estate and went by the name Chris Chris?

  2. that ignore button is quite a powerful form of passive agressiveness that allows one to feel as if yes, you ‘mentioned the bisque’ ;-)
