I’m not much of a party girl when it comes to going out on New Year’s Eve. I prefer spontaneous drinking over premeditated over-consumption of alcohol(Warning: graphic animal behavior). The last time I had an official date lined up for NYE, I was stood up. I was a junior in high school. My heart was broken. Last year the dude who stood me up asked me to be his Facebook friend. I really showed him—hitting the IGNORE button was better than sex. But I am not a holder of grudges either.

Anywhoo, you probably love to celebrate on NYE. If you are looking for a local option, Sarah Eveans has comprised a long list of festive options. Check back often as the list is growing like kudzo. (BTW, the aforementioned dude is married. To another dude.) Moving on.
