That’s two Mansion chefs in a row from Mandalay Bay in Vegas. Who’s next – Hubert Keller?

Here’s a big ole Texas Howdy and welcome to Chef Davaillon. We’re looking forward to your joining the local fraternity (yes, you too Sharon) and wowing us with the products of your talent. As for the Mansion, thanks for bringing in a star – we’ll be over for dinner soon (and taking notes for Uncle Nancy’s Side Dish Nation).

Wacky coincidence on that one, I’m sure. I go to LV every year for ICSC and have eaten damn near everywhere, including Rick Moonan’s restaurant at MB and at Mix and THEHOTEL. Two completely different experiences. RM was really good but too much of one thing. Mix was unbelievable. If Bruno does half as good at the Mansion as he did at Mix – Dallas is going to be in for a treat.
Will the MOTC require him to put the tortilla soup on the menu? wonder how he will feel about that…
