Two of my Deep Goats in the food biz are telling me that the ink in drying on a deal between Next Food Network Star runner-up Lisa Garza and CBS. My niece is going to her cooking camp next month. Perhaps she’ll get the poop on the scoop. Way to go, Lisa.

  1. She’s been doing cooking segments on Good Morning Texas recently and I had wondered if her gig she talked about would ever come to fruition. Good luck, Lisa. Hope your new show is a success.

  2. Well, I suspect if and when something concrete is reached Lisa will post the information on her “official” Facebook fan page.

    This month she has posted several videos and sung us a song to match.

  5. I’d love to watch Lisa on a cooking program, She was great on The Next Food Network Star! The Fox Network has always picked up controversial shows that end up being super big hits. Here is a message to Fox, you don’t have a good cooking segment in your programming lineup, how about the next Julia Childs, or the next Emeril? I think Lisa has the stuff, why not give her a look.
