Nothing To Do With Dallas Food Except I Don’t Want To Eat Any Of It

My body crashed at noon today. One minute I was in a meeting; the next hour I was home in bed. WTF? Body and headaches. Lethargic. Tight throat. I panicked.

Then I checked the Dallas pollen count: Mold Spore High.  I am sorry people, but the high pollen counts and the air quality we breathe in Dallas every day are ridiculous. I just canceled my plans for dinner. The thought of a glass of wine makes my stomach churn.

Channeling my best frustrated Susan Hayward:I WANT TO LIVE! AND WEAR BLACK LACE SLIPS!”

My husband is totally freaked out about the air quality in Dallas. I have to agree. Today sucks. (I literally just sneezed)

This is clearly swine flu. Turn on the TV and watch Food Network all day, counting the number of times they describe something as “very unique…”

    Nancy,

I follow you every day many times a day. I live for food and most important the dining experience. I travel all over the world and still am taken back by the great food we have in Dallas. Not a restaurant in Dallas that I don’t know someone…the bus boy…the owner! Diagnosed in 1999 with MS the heat and quality of air challenges me every summer. Currently enjoying the amazing air and mine you the AWESOME food in Sun Valley, ID…it pains me to know my food guru…YOU.. are not happy. Come to Sun Valley! I’m here for 2 more weeks!
