Downtown’s Dallas Fish Market just debuted its new bar menu featuring grilled calamari steak, pan-fried red chili oysters, skate BLT, Maine Jonah crab claws, achiote marinated fish tacos, and bruleed figs (pictured left). I live and work downtown and I go here frequently, the service is hit and miss, but the food is consistent. However, they have been offering 50% off for a while now for lunches. Dont know how it can possibly stay open and continue to serve the highest quality fish with such deep discounts.

From what i hear, they ran the 50% off promotion to generate traffic through the slow summer months, which make sense. I go there quite a bit during dinner and I love the place. I was there last friday for the restaurant week menu and it was awesome. But you are right, service can be a hit and miss but i guess the food makes up for it.
