Pinkberry Will Open in Dallas

More fro-yo in Dallas.

More fro-yo in Dallas.

We are now officially as yogurty as L.A. I just got a note from Pinkberry:

Pinkberry announced today plans to expand into Texas, with the first market opening in Dallas.  The franchising agreement with Saxton Pierce Restaurant Corporation will begin the US expansion outside of California and New York.

“We are excited to work with Pinkberry and look forward to establishing an enduring brand in the heart of Texas,” says Kelly Saxton, president and founder of Saxton Pierce Restaurant Corporation. “We’ve done our homework on the frozen yogurt category – and the Pinkberry brand, product and management team is second to none.”

No where or when was announced.

  1. Although I am partial to the taro at Yogilicious, Pinkberry was the first yogurt of this kind that I tried, and I loved the original. Can’t wait to eat it again. Also love the Japanese pop-inspired theme song on their website. http://www.pinkberry.com

  2. YUM wish it was dry enough outside to warrant darting to Yogilisious for some Taro with coconut… I do wonder how Pinkberry will affect its business.

  3. I tried Pinkberry in Torrance CA after reading rave reviews. It has quite a bit of sugar and is tart. I tried both but ended up with the plain due to the high sugar grams. At least higher than most healthier brands. Really was not impressed.
