Re: Sprinkles Cupcakes

That’s pretty awesome how that whole post makes us sound like a bunch of ungrateful food snobs. I find it hard to believe that people don’t enjoy them, based on how quickly they disappear every time. IJS. Oh, and those cherry cupcakes WERE delish. I ate half of one–and not just because it was free.

P.S. Nancy, did you mean Beth Hutson of Hutson Creative?

  1. Ungrateful food snobbery is sexy if you ask me. I’m into complicated stuff like that.

  2. Like them or not, I just went to Sprinkles to drown my sorrows in said cherry cupcakes and they don’t even sell them. This of course begs the question: If they didn’t have them in the store, where did those cherry cupcakes come from? Perhaps the PR agency for Sprinkles punked you.

  3. Summer Cherry cupcakes will be available at Sprinkles July 24 – August 2. PR and marketing firms often send information / products in advance to meet space deadlines in case an editor is interested. Who knew 12 little cupcakes could create such a stir? ;)

  4. Since Sprinkles is simply based on HYPE, I find the article extremely amusing. I guess the truth hurts….. My question is why Sprinkles finds it necessary to try to pawn their “delicious” cupcakes for free press… They certainly got some free press with this delivery.

  5. It wasn’t me! I don’t work with Sprinkles. I represent Sublime Bakery in Fort Worth!

PS: I heart all my sweet friends at D and appreciate you oh so much! I promise to never send you yuccakes.
