Abacus Wins Ivy Award
Big Daddy, Kent Rathbun, was in Chicago last night and picked up an Ivy Award for Abacus. What is the Ivy Award? According to Restaurants and Institutions, a restaurant industry magazine, the awards are “the oldest and most-coveted accolades in the foodservice industry.” Of course they are–the yearly battle for an Ivy takes place in Restaurants and Institutions: each year the winners are nominated by past winners voted on by R&I readers.
