Don’t have a ticket to the big game tonight or a flat sceen TV? You don’t have to be a total loser–you can sit on a bar stool about a hundred yards from the AAC action at Victory Tavern. (I really should consider writing for an ad agency. Where does this come from?) Quick rationalization: cheap beer. Starting at 5 pm, Victory Tavern will feature $2 Bud Light drafts, $3 craft drafts, and $2 domestic bottles along with ancho BBQ-glazed meatloaf and aged cheddar mashed potatoes ($5), Tavern burgers ($6), and Yukon chips ($2). Laura, Spider Monkey? They are calling your names.
Last night, on Twitter, Kent Rathbun also mentioned the Blue Plate was having $3 drafts, $3 wood grilled hot dogs and $3 truffle popcorn.
I don’t know what that last one is.
WOW! Victory Tavern is having reasonably priced food and drinks. This will be shortlived. What an overpriced and under-deliver place!
This definitely ain’t no tavern! Its more like a mini-Houstons….with high prices but the food don’t even come close.
Victory tavern is gross. I can’t understand how people eat there.
all night or just during hh?
Prices are good all night long.
I really like going there. It’s the only restaurant that is reasonable but still upscale. I always get the special or one of their huge salads. My boyfriend gets the burger and truffle fries. I heard they have a stimulus summer menu with comfort food for $15, if I only lived closer. Yum!
$2 Yukon chips?!?!? Their yukon chips are clutch. Esp if you love blue cheese. i like to eat them with a glass of red wine.
I love their sherry vinaigrette on the salads. I want the recipe.
I can get meatloaf and mashers + 3 beers for $11? Done.
