Rathbun’s Blue Plate Kitchen Open For Biz Feb. 23
Everyone else has already said it. But I would be remiss if I didn’t mention Kent Rathbun’s new “comfort casual” spot Rathbun’s Blue Plate Kitchen will open on February 23. The menu is up on the website (without prices), but dishes such as smoked shrimp biscuits and gravy, Niman Ranch pot roast, and granola waffle ice cream sandwiches make me hungry again, and I just ate.

Preston Center on Luther next to Flying Fish
Reservations link on restaurant’s website takes you to Opentable link for his restaurant in Austin. Are they accepting reservations yet for this restaurant?
I like the vegetarian shoutout at lunch – the “If you’re one of ‘Them’” sandwich. I’ll be visiting.

This is the old Zeas….if the food will be similar, some entrees will be great and some will be downright awful. Guess we’ll see…
