We still don’t know where he’s going next. But until he makes that decision, chef John Tesar isn’t resting on his laurels. He’s throwing a party. Chef Tesar’s Burgers & Burgundy party will be on March 22 and will benefit DIFFA/Dallas. Apparently, Johnny boy is one of the DIFFA Style Council Ambassadors this year (oooh la la), and he’s doing his part to help the organization. Seven chefs will join him at a “Preston Hollow manse” (sez press release) for a burger cook off. These chefs are: Richard Chamberlain, Scott Romano, Tim Love, Samir Dhurandhar, Yoanne Lardeux, Brian Luscher and Dan Landsberg. There will also be a preview of the 2009 DIFFA jackets. I’m assuming there will be plenty of wine, even though the press release doesn’t really mention much about that. Cost is $75 per, and it’s from 2–5pm.
If you’d like to attend, or want more info, email firstname.lastname@example.org. We say go and “grill” John about upcoming projects.
