Here is a report from a grand dame Disher in the field:
I just came across the nicest restaurant yesterday while making sales calls. They have only been open for 1 month and so no one seems to know about them (only two other tables were dining when my husband and I had dinner). I liked the place so much that I’m emailing people to give the restaurant some exposure. The owners are a husband & wife team (she’s an architect and he’s a photographer) while their staff is filled with some strong industry experience: the chef is a woman who was a sous chef at Stephan Pyles, one server is Jeff who managed City Café years ago and is getting back into the restaurant business… etc. We really liked our food and the prices!!- Extremely reasonable. Service had a few glitches (the busboy took our bread plates when he cleared the table of appetizer dishes) but all in all this is a warm, comfortable place with great food and fantastic prices. I’m writing you to spread the word. Diterra’s location is the old Firehouse on Lower Greenville, right next to where Poor David’s was (Orem & Greenville).
The food is “Urban Italian.” Here’s the urban poop. (Thanks, Claire!)
