Let us know. According to this DMN report, the wait earlier this morning was about 30 minutes at the Denny’s off Central expressway, near Knox. Did you have to wait? Was it worth it?
Oh, and in case you don’t know about this already, Denny’s is offering free Grand Slam Breakfasts from 6am–2pm today. This is two eggs, two slices of bacon, two sausage links, and two pancakes. This makes my stomach hurt just typing it…
My husband was at the Denny’s in Irving on 183 at about 6 am and there was no wait. He said the breakfast was good and quick and a it began to get a bit crowded as he was leaving 45 minutes later. I value sleep over food, therefore, no grand slam for me today, just a banana and coffee as I headed out the door!
I went with a co-worker to the one on Camp Bowie in Fort Worth. About a 20-ish minute wait…outside. Came prepared with a heavy coat. The food was good. Eggs over easy, crispy bacon and good pancakes. Waitress was friendly. Coffee (had to pay for this) refills were continuous. The other clientele: well, some of them looked a little worn out…some like they needed a meal not to mention a dental plan at work….a lot were from a different socio-economic class. But all in all it was a positive experience. We left a generous tip.
Western Center at 35W – it was looking like a 90-minute wait at 7am. Didn’t stay.
I hear the Mansion is planning the same kind of thing..
