Our favorite Spice Girl, Nikki from Northaven Gardens, sends this link to fun. BTW, Nikki Spice, I have a question: My aunt gave me some turk’s cap seeds from her garden in Waxahachie. When is the best time to plant them? And when can I plant sage? I am on a sage kick. Fried sage leaves slathered with anchovy paste for breakfast. Crazy stuff.
Plant the sage now. I’m told it is evergreen through winter. I love fried sage leaves too!
As for the Turk’s Cap seeds, plant them in spring. They’ll attract hummingbirds! AND, they are water wise. Give them a few years of growth to get BIG. Mine grow bigger each year.
