The Iconoclast is a tasty vino! (Try his Reserve Cabernet too.) Also I found out for those traveling through DFW the month of October, the La Bodega Wineries (in terminals A and D) are offering discounts on any Texas wine, by the glass before your board or on any bottle to take with. They have several of the Becker wines as well as some other Texas favorites.

Fabulous report, my fellow blogger. Don't forget the excellent wines of Fall Creek and Dry Comal Creek in the Hill Country. Dry Comal Creek Black Spanish may be the quintessential Texas wine in that it's made from native Texas grapes!!

I've been skeptical about Texas wine but I trust the wine chick and can't wait to get my first bottle of the Becker Ionoclast Cab! Lisa, I look forward to the next installment in your wine adventures.

Holy Smokes! This maybe just a bit presumptuous (but certainly not preposterous) for me to think that there just might be another qualified candidate to fill the 'Most Beautiful Woman in Dallas' candidate post recently vacated by Ms. Casey Thompson after all.

A friend of mine (ahem) was wondering if there was a Mr. Lisa around to help Lisa with all her hard work and demanding schedule?

I am also one of those lucky people who has benefited from the Texas Wine Chick's expertise. She, most definitely, should write a book! Here's to you, Lisa!

What a pleasant surprise to see Lisa as your wine chick. I cant think of anyone better; She always has great suggestions for the perfect bottle. I personally tried the Viognier on Lisa's recommendation and it was fabulous. It really beat staring wide-eyed down the wine isle...and my wine-self-esteem shot way up when I actually knew how to pronounce it at the store (Vee-On-YAY). Were do I get all of this wine knowledge you might ask? At the risk of ruining my secret gold mine you can find out all about it at www.dallaseats.blogspot.com.
